This morning we sailed into Marseilles, the second city of France. As we were entering the waters of this city the island of Frioul could be seen with the castle on it which was used as a jail and became famous thanks to Alexander Dumas and his novel 'The Count of Monte Christo'.

Drove into Nice the next morning but the traffic was so busy that we decided to just keep driving. We'd seen the seafront all lit up the night before which was much nicer then all of the traffic and tourists that were around during the day. To avoid tolls we drove down the coastal road.
