      4. We have never seen so many different cultures and heard so many languages spoken in such a condensed space. Oxford Street highlighted this to us.

      5. The English don't want to know anything about the Ashes. The only thing I have heard of it was on their morning show (like the Today Show) where they said that they will be reporting tomorrow on how bad the English played on day 1 of the Perth test. This brings a smile to my face :) ...

      ... down. Apparently the Mayor, Boris Johnson is mad keen to get everyone out on bikes and he's obviously encouraged many to block the laneways as we had to crawl behind some on our trip today. Neville does a marvellous job finding a way to our hotel around the roadblocks. On the way we see Harrods and the Victoria and Albert Museum. It's raining as well. We leave the bus and go up to our room at the Thistle Marble ...
