... getting quite heavy. This made for a slow trip, but more entertainment as we observed the drivers' strategies for negotiating their way around. The vast majority of cars are black or grey, but today we saw these brightly coloured Citroens, into which a group of tourists piled, and headed off for their trip around the city. ... than half. The raclette sandwiches were too much though, as Mario ordered ham on a baguette and we watched as the cheese monger heated an entire wheel of cheese under broiler until soft and melty, then scraped the soft layer off and into the sandwich, which we ate with delight. How can you not fall for a good melty cheese sandwich?!

... And.... you can't count the EXTREMELY intoxicated half dozen who were dancing to their own tune on the front steps. Was just the end of their evening, I'd say. ... phenomenal view with us. Ross slept in on this first morning, and walked the 2 miles from the apartment to meet us there, and join us for the steps to the top, which he and Scot enjoyed doing.
