... campervans. One of which had the biggest dog we have every seen. It was a Newfoundland, which looked a little like a small bear but was as tame as a kitten. As the sun was about to set we took some photos and then had a wander through the village - everything was closed - end of season.

Since we have until the 5th off Becca and I decided to take a trek up north to see some loire castles, bretagne, and the mont saint michel.
well apparently since the south of france gets about 300 days of sunshine it has to spend a years worth of rain in one go, and there was crazy flooding on friday morning. it took me a very awkward hour and a half car ride with eve yo get to school. of course when i got there my teachers didn't ...
... committed by kids. except using much smaller words. maybe at least they'll think i'm older than i look now?
btws when asked my age i replied, a true lady never reveals her age. my 2 faves in the class laughed at that one. at least someone got my jokes!
and tomorrow?
another day of very early rising to greet the bus, and go to a class that i may or may not actually have.(thanks eve)
looks like i've got my work cut out for me.....
... blue/green shutter doors. i feel all french like whenever we open and close them.
so tomorrow is my first day of school for real. eek. little nervous, its a class of terminal and then the professional school. definite potential for them to be older than me. oh *****, i already look like im 12 haha.
yet another part of this lovely adventure!

Just paid a fleeting visit to St Tropez on the way to Avignon (so we thought)... had to be done really.. a quick wander around and a very quick coffee. It was much smaller than I thought. Lots of nice boats but loads of tourists too.... that was about it!
... handstands and all the rest.... spend hours cleaning the sand out of our bags and clothes! The next day was a stunning 26 degree day.. so so so nice. We never thought we would be at the beach again. Were tempted to stay but found out the next 2 days were not going to be great weather. Sadly we headed off at 4pm to head to Avignon.. Saying goodbye to the med forever was very hard.. and sad....

Fréjus, Provence, France qyzhang... besides water but I need to start sampling more types. Salad Nicoise - great. Amazing tomatoes and peppers. Danny (bunkmate from Arles) believes that North American produce is so pumped with chemicals that it dilutes the flavour. He raved about some peaches and now I'm raving about veggies. The salad was almost ...
Nice, France pwong... luck, the casinos beckon. Three weeks ago, I stayed in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, a quiet town north of Nice. The Mercure hotel in which I stayed was inches away from the station, and made my life easy any time I wanted transportation. Though very active in the day time, it was very quiet at night time , the very opposite of Monte Carlo, and Nice. And yet, it was still very attractive, and enjoyable. This time, I stayed at the Kryad Port Hotel in the city centre of Nice. It was ...
Nice, France kaowinston... Austria, and Bavaria. I can't write down everyone we met but I'll mention a few: Len and Fran: They picked us up at our house and brought us to the pier and were very friendly and entertaining and a joy to talk to. Peter and James: Extremely nice with a wonderful outlook on life. Ove (from Sweden): Also has an interesting outlook on life but in a much different way. I really liked his sense of humor.
