As a hotel guest, they give me ticket for free travelling around the city. The city separated by the lake. Almost every shops selling watches. I don't understand why people buy expensive watch which the same value to buy a car. can any one tell me?.

... We started by going to Geneva’s famous fountain. Along the way, we walked by the flower clock. This was the biggest reminder to us that traveling in November was probably not the best idea: the beautiful blooming flower clock was more like the nicely cropped brown stem stuff clock. ... Point, only to discover that there was no cheap accomodation left and the only places available was 4 and 5 star hotels. So long chat on the phone to Lucy's mum and she said she would pay for us to stay in a nice hotel and send her the bill. What a treat! Lausanne was a really charming city with an excellent atmosphere and wonderfully clean air. So despite staying there for a short peroid of time, I cant wait to go back!

... city are our home exchangers. I think we mentioned awhile back that we had some home exchangers back out at the last minute. Our Lausanne exchangers were actually on vacation elsewhere and were kind enough to let us stay in their place. It was wonderful. It took a lot of will power to not take photos of every corner of their home and post them. Merci encore a vous deux!

Lausanne overlooking to the French Alps. The mountains are majestic. The snow has almost melted because it was a summer day. Looks beautiful when they are snow-capped. I have a few scattered photos of Lausanne which is not much...To tell the truth, photographs do not do justice to the beauty of this country! You have to be there to see it, feel it...the uplifting moments when you are standing facing the majestic creation of God. Le Magnifique!!
