... two days here we decided to take a train into the next big city. When we got to the train station we found that the next train was a two hour wait. Needless to say we didn't wait but walked back to the church and had a look around the crypt.
The campsite is small but has very new facilities. Pete found a very informative sign on the back of the toilet door, I told him he should try out the all of the pictures! ...

... penpal project, working around teaching in Surgeres. Lydia is so good that way, she said I can drop into class anytime to do that with the kids. And I know she really doesn’t mind at all.

My First week in Surgeres went quite well. It will be a bit different working in this school than the others. Most teachers will have me take half the class, which is normal for Courcon as well, but I will take them for the whole hour instead of 25-30 ...

Now of course there are other
differences I have noticed, but I do not have the time to talk about
them right now. I have a few things to do today as tomorrow is our
first day of holidays! And I need to get ready for that.

I will be on holidays for 2 weeks, so I

... round balls with sugar sprinkled on them as well. Not a lot to see in this little town. The castle that was the strong hold of the Templars is in ruins and very expensive to visit.

We decide to just take some pics and keep going to visit the Château de Chenonceau, one of the most famous castles in the Loire Valley.

We will visit other castles on our next trip perhaps. ...
