Today In the morning we had a morning swim. The water was cold. yesterday we went to the poy du fou and it was phenominal. They were trying to act the ww1 and ww2, they did very good. At the poy du fou there were translators that can also change to the radio and I got to keep my one. We are staying at a miniature hotel.

... Face time with Rachel and we saw Alice, how much she has changed in a month. She gave us plenty of smiles and a few gurgling noises and very much more alert and looked so pretty in her summer dress. Rachel looked so well to which was lovely to see.The next day was cooler so David and I got our bikes off Sega and off we went for 12 miles round trip, all along the coast, they had special cycle paths called the Vendee á velo, we rode to the port where we were going ...

... stage! We ate some lunch at one of the many small 'take away' shops.

Along the way there are a number of sections with fine mists of water being sprayed into the air under which anyone who feels like it can try to cool down - very popular today, including Brad!!

L'Odysee du Puy du Fou was, like everything else here, an amazing show which took you through a series of rooms representing different eras in history. Different characters ...

... Magic also featured as a priest disappeared from under his cloak in a puff of smoke. As the village went up in smoke we could feel the great heat coming from huge flames - once again amazing! The technology used is unbelievably hi-tech and amazing!!!

By this time it was 7:00pm and we were booked in for dinner at L'Orangerie where we ate our prepaid meal. It was a huge room with a cold buffet in the centre, with 100+ tables of 10 surrounding ...

We ate 'in' tonight (well actually we ate outside on the terrace!!) enjoying dishes of fresh homegrown (either Sally and David's or from friends locally) vegetables - a speciality of the region. It was so delightful to enjoy a delicious meal in the warmth of a summer's evening. Oh come on Summer in Melbourne!!!
