The Big Bus Tour We walk to pick up our 4 day Paris Pass that we ordered online and venture onto the Metro immediately to travel on two different lines under TD's trusty directions. It is well posted with colour and number ID. We pick up our Red Bus tickets and hop on for a tour of Paris to get an overview of where the places at that we want to visit. ... listened and watched and laughed... pianos on the pathway, guitars, sax, etc and some various singers all having fun sharing their passion. As we sat listening at some point, Mat opened his backpack and produced a bottle of Rose and some plastic cups... MORE to drink... this wasn't the plan for a night before travel... but we were in 'last night in Paris' mode!

Suffice to say, it was a a late night/early morning but a great time was had by all!

Not well

A travel blog entry by stephtoole on May 24, 2014

... I managed quite well and a yummy dish of egg, spinach and bacon, sort if a breakfast in a bowl really. But that was all I could manage. We were supposed to be going to a tapas bar that Caroline (Stephs) daughter works at called Clamato but decided not to risk it as I have the train trip to Germany tomorrow morning. There is always next week. Probably best I get organised as train leaves at 9am tomorrow morning. So it's a quiet Saturday night in Paris. ...
