Much better weather when we set off. Took the train and metro direct to the Louvre. We had been "warned" how vast it is, but not how long it took to get in - queues for tickets, audio guides, toilets and left luggage all added up to an hour. The Louvre consists of several massive and very ornate buildings surrounding a courtyard and in the centre there is a very huge modern glass pyramid which is the entrance. There were thousands there but the queue was moving quite quickly so we did not have too long to wait. We also saw the upturned glass pyramid once inside which was resting on a tiny one. ... I keep saying in Paris is omg and wow. It's incredible. The lights sparkling on the tower was amazing. I think over 100 ppl got proposed to up the Eiffel Tower or at the bottom. As much as it's every girls dream and romantic it's not my thing. So if my future husband is reading this don't try pull it off,keep its private ;) Today was out of this world,still no words can describe this beautiful city. Do yourself a favour and come to Paris. ... lots of walking. I wasnt staying in central paris but it was still only a 3km walk to the eiffle tower so I walked most places including in an out of the city.
