... managed to keep me awake about 10 minutes, my need for sleep beat their efforts to keep me awake. Waking for good was a bit "iffy" as I could not use my phone, but sometime around 0800 I woke, started to dress to "sneak" off to church, when I blew up my hairdryer/iron combo product, leaving us with neither an iron or a dryer! We saw some Millet, ...

... usual French hours on weekends. I am glad that they were going to open today! However, it wouldn't open for a few hours so we had to kill time walking the streets of the historic neighborhood... "Bummer." We eventually ended up going to a French history museum that confused me even more because it was badly laid out. I really want to learn about the history because of the constant turmoil! It was interesting but I just wanted to see the world war1 and 2 ...

... to a young woman belt out a beautiful song I can tell you nothing about. We walked out of the cathedral with smiles plastered on our faces and met up with Robert, a friend of Lauren’s from Redlands studying abroad there, for dinner. We gossiped about our semesters over French cuisine and laughed the night away until the waiters gave us steely gazes wishing for the table to open up for new customers. Once we bid adieu to Robert, we hopped back on the metro to see ...
