... ship in as well as many luxury yachts. After lunch at the apartment we walked to the Russian cathedral only to find the whole building encased in scaffolding, disappointing as the pictures of it looked magnificent. Then it was back to central Nice and a perfume museum and villa Messena museum. We had a cocktail at hotel Negresco before dining at the restaurant under our apartment. Certainly Nice is a place worth returning ...

Been looking for things to bring back to people but everything is so touristy. Can't find handkerchiefs anywhere mom. They don't use those here. I've been to at least 10 linen shops. For some reason cicadas are all the rage here. They have little bug sculptures everywhere. Kinda strange. Also lavender is from here so ...

... from their holiday house and on the south of France coast. This particular day was actually ridiculously windy so we were not fighting for space on the beach!

We set up our two umbrellas nice and low to shelter behind and went for a swim with a tennis ball to throw around. The current was incredible in the ocean. It was going extremely hard to the left so we were constantly fighting not to be swept down the beach away from our spot. While it was really ...
