Secure parking for a car full of camping gear, clean & comfortable, near the auto route... what more do you need? Near enough to Dijon to pop in for a look around, very cheap and breakfast included. Does exactly what it says on the tin, no complaints from us!

Agay to Dijon
We got up early, packed up and managed to leave Agay by 9.30am after petit dejeuner in a cafe in the town. The drive is pretty much all Autoroute so we were able to make Lyon in good time (although we did hit heavy traffic as we went around Lyon). It is called Brain.

... and suggested routes. Excellent, as we knew nothing about the area. We were recommended a route which was a 27km round trip and were told this was comfortable – maybe on the fitness stakes but not for the butt! For the record, Craig wanted to name this blog "Bruised Bums Biking through Burgundy", which is also a very apt title for the blog, as we definitely had saddle seat after the first 10km.

Todays challenge: drive from the middle of nowhere to Dijon without a GPS or map. We had contemplated getting a map but the GPS teased us into thinking it was working again so against our better judgement, we threw caution to the wind and took off in search of a new adventure.
We were off to a great start - the sun was shining, the signposts were clear and we were happily singing along to the best CherieFM had to offer. Then we hit Dijon... after the turn off ...
