... a perfect day! We then began the marathon of wine tasting. We hopped from one wine farm to another, all so pretty and very civilised. By 4pm we decided to take a break from tasting and get a bottle, great call, although one bottle soon became 2. The best laid plans o' mice and backpackers

An early start today to squeeze in the last bit of sightseeing before leaving South Africa. Since I chose to visit Cape Town in winter, it means I've had somewhat unpredictable weather to deal with, which has thrown a monkey wrench into some of my plans. A change of pace from the excitement of the park was our subsequent voyage by mokoro (dugout) canoes to the Umvuvu island camp in the Okavango Delta in Botswana.
