... last months have been particularly crowded with translating technical items, the visitor agreement, privacy policy, error messages, things many people will never see, but that must be on the site, as well as buttons, forms, responses, and so on.

I’ve been on a steep learning-curve to know what I need to know to do my part in the development and maintenance of the site. I’m far from where I need to be, but far enough along the do the minimum.

The countryside that was slowly beginning to be wine country yesterday is now fully wine country. Today we did not pass anything that was not a vineyard. At first, it was beautiful. ... lot. The apartment we had in Paris didn’t really have much in the way of cooking facilities.

At about 10.30pm we decided to go with a pizza place. They were really nice pizzas but we had to wait for about half an hour because they made them from scratch. Eli and I shared a 33cm pizza. I managed to down my half much to my surprise.

We had the morning free in Bordeaux. So went and picked up some bikes and went for a ride. We stopped for refreshments along the way and had a chilled out morning. We finally ordered Rob a grenadine and sparkling water that he had been craving since we arrived. We found a nice park and spent some time riding around the gardens. We returned the bikes and got some baguettes and tarts and sat on the steps of the town hall and watched people as we enjoyed our lunch. ...
