... shopping in the village shop "Der Laden" and then going out to dinner. Main meal was in Minamoto - Japanese restaurant in Hotel Royal - and desert in Hotel Restaurant Waldhaus.

Back home to catch up with e-mails before retiring to bed.

Very nice

Weather changed dramatically with rain, rain, rain and lower temperatures (Schneegrenze auf etwa 2000m sinkend!) should get a bit better by the weekend.

... Parts of the stronghold date from the 10th century but various towers and other parts have been added over time and the main building is 18th C. The town is known to have been in existence in the 8th C.

Then we waddled home to bed in another beautiful old building,wondering what stories its walls could tell and feeling like we were living in some kind of wonderful time warp.
