We profited from a first very nice and warm spring weekend here in Switzerland and decided to check out the remote Jura region of Switzerland.
After a two hour train and bus ride we arrived at the the beautiful lake "Etang de la Gruère" which was man-made in the 17th century to run a mill. The surface was crystal clear and we enjoyed the mirror like reflection.

Last night we went looking for food and obviously should've gone right instead of left as all we could find was the equivalent of Pizza Hut and McDonald's. Not a very good introduction to French cuisine. Anyway as it was now getting late we settled on buying a loaf of bread and having a jam and cheese sandwich for tea haha.
