... will not be our driver (boo!). In fact, Rolinka (who used to be married to him) said that she kept hearing rumors that Rene had quit. So she emailed him and he responded that he had not quit, but he wasn't driving this year. He's apparently just really burned out and wanted to spend some time with his family. So I don't know who exactly the driver will be, but he's got big shoes to fill as far as I'm concerned.

The final morning was our last chance to check out the other side of the city and find some tacky souvenirs. At the airport we parted ways and it was nice to be home in Groningen after a long night of trains, buses and planes.

I absolutely loved Antwerp. It is metropolitan, cultural, tourist-friendly, and beautiful, all at the same time. I really felt like if I ever lived in Europe, Antwerp would be a great choice.
