We made a closer stop at the Opera House, rode along the harbour edge to see the Bridge from below, skipped off our bikes to walk through Hyde Park (another nod to our hometown), and rested our legs and fed our tummies in the Royal Botanic Gardens. ... our way along the headland for a bush walk. We even saw a large Guanna (a large lizard native to the Gold Coast) - Sarah was put off by it as it ran away awkwardly. We then made our way back to the Hostel then had lunch. We walked over to the Jetty and got some dinner from the Fishmongers (Shark - was very cheap!) then went back to have a BBQ at the hostel. Watched a few films on the evening then headed to bed as we had to catch an early bus in the morning (again!)

... to climb to the top, an 18 inch skink, looking like a "Hilo Monster" crawled out in front of him, quite an exciting moment! After walking back on the dock at the marina and checking out the restaurants there, we watched the sun go down on the marina and headed back to our motel, where we settled in for the night...... Onward tomorrow on our way to Port Macquarie where we will stay with our new found friends Jim & Vivienne!

... has passed. Andy takes the kids up to change into warm clothes but I go back down to watch the waterfall and take pics for the family. I get soaking wet!
