... arranged a city and Soweto tour as well as a visit to the Apartheid Museum before we left. The city is pretty drab with lots of empty hotels. Crime is apparently on the decline and the government are trying to encourage hotels back into the city centre. Still, I think it might be a while until the tourists flood back to downtown Johannesburg.
