      ... a few hours touring the Auckland museum. The museum is sitting on the remains of a dormant volcano. One of the many exhibits included a section on the history of the Maori people, their language, and migration of the Polynesians across the Pacific.       ... flight was good, Tv shows we free to watch on the screens so we watched a few, also you could order food through them, got a toast each as we hadn’t booked a meal. They were tasty!

      ... then to downtown. I returned to the guesthouse (Verandah's Lodge) around 11am, checked in and tried to sleep for a bit.       ... so we decided to skip hamner springs and head there. Well considering we drove 3 hours to get here, and it was baking we decided to check in to a campsite there. Turns out it was a clothing optional park. The view from the cabin was stunning, the view round the pool not so much! Anyways we stuck it out and left at 10 the next morning. Day 12..
