So a power walk up Queen st, then cross over to the University and over the highway to the Domain. We slightly over estimate the way to Ponsbury and instead hit the Museum on top of the hill, that was quite a walk but nice through the Domain Park, past the duck pond. ... og så lidt på det. Vi tog videre på Auckland Art Gallery med to svenske venner fra bussen, hvilket var rigtig interessant - vi er så småt begyndt at være museumsenthusiaster igen! Eftermiddagen blev brugt på hvad eftermiddage nu engang er til for - en lur! Om aftenen fik vi gjort vores venner ligeså afhængige af kortspillet Skip-Bo som vi er, og efter flere timers spil plus en omgang natmad gik vi i seng og nåede da ...

... bus journeys I took. Dip had a dodgy start with an overbooked BA flight, a full day wait in the airport to be eventually put on a totally different flight with a different route but he received some compensation and finally made it to Auckland - woo!

... die Scanner und warteten à la „Und täglich grüsst das Murmeltier“ vor dem Inspektionsausgabeschalter. Resultat: Wiederum erhielten wir unser Zelt als Blachenklüngel retour, weshalb wir wieder mal auf dem Flughafenboden unser Zelt ordnungsgemäss zusammenrollen und verpacken mussten. Die Nacht verbrachten wir in einem der Flughafenhotels, denn der Weiterflug in das Abenteuerland Australien war bereits für den nächsten Tag ...
