... imagine she was making some really strong drinks. After Fubar we went to a club called Pig Pen. This is a dance club where they have a Taiwanese cover band that sings the latest pop music. We danced the night away and around 2:30AM I was exhausted so I decided to go home but Mom wanted to keep partying. So I left her in the hands of my friends. She continued dancing until 4:30AM! How lucky am I to have spent Christmas, New Year, my birthday and now Chinese New Year with my fabulous friends, the MacLeods, in Changhua, Taiwan! It was hard to leave Bali behind but knowing I had more time to hang with this lovely family made it much easier to bear :)

... and then at home we wrapped, baked, moved furniture, poured drinks and fed the masses! We watched Elf on Christmas Eve and got ready for Santa's visit. Christmas morning was a blur of little girls enjoying their new Barbies (Rapunzel Barbie and Kelly Goes Potty Barbie) from Santa and adults sipping coffee and trying on new Christmas sweaters and flipping through new books (aaaaaah, the smell of new books - you know it's irresistable)!
