    We woke up at 5:00 am this morning and hurriedly fed dogs, fed my wild birds, filled the flask, showered and climbed in the car for our very first spur of the moment trip!! This after barely arriving home from a 6 week trip to Namibia, Botswana and Swaziland. Spurred by the bad weather in Hermanus yesterday and I think from Alick's side as our dear friends Claire and Simon were on their way to Kruger after not been able to join us on our last trip. ...

    ... water used. We even managed not to run out of fuel, considering that Maureen only has a 20Litre tank!!!

    10 B&B's later, as mentioned from top class to.......say no more!!!!

    ... water, 1.5L and 20 minutes at the cricket I felt pretty hydrated, enough to join Badger in the gym at lunch�� a steady night at the hotel was enough for all of us!

    The cricket was delayed by rain in the afternoon and a spectacular Lightning display, so much so that although the rain and hail saturated the pitch the covers were off and 19 overs to complete the day, but bad light put paid to that.
