... village in Italy. Lots of nice home, views, alleyways etc. and it was more spacious, with easy parking and very much enjoyed by us both. We had lunch at what looked like a simple restaurant but it was very nice and looked like a cave inside. Orrieche with broccoli and breadcrumbs – very tasty and Grilled beef with rocket & cheese and salad. Every day we order just two courses and share it. Back home again. Creeping away silently from what felt like home in Lipari was our aim - at 6.15am we didn't want to wake our hosts and their neighbours. But suitcases can't be wheeled quietly, and our downhill walk in the dark, fresh morning air delivered us far earlier than required at the wharf.
