As we continue on our journey the staring and photographs are increasing whilst the number of westerners decreases.

This trip was another great opportunity to learn about how another Protected Area is being managed and to add to our growing list of birds observed during our time in the country.

... Both Shanu and Gunjan live in separate villages quite a distance apart. First stop was meeting Shanu in his village which was a fair way in the mountains from Pauri itself. We both had no idea what to expect so you can imagine our surprise, delight and pure excitement when we were greeted at the entrance to their village by the people who instantly welcomed us, with flower lays presented to us and singing by the young girls and flowers thrown upon us, ...
... us with a guide to the forest and a good guitarist. We all including these locals were stunned and spell bound. We enjoyed the music till it was jade dark. We wound up our stuff and made sure not to pollute the forest. We quickly reached to the resort.
The evening was spent sharing our panther sight to all and everyone we met. Kids were thrilled and we were just going with the time, how great it was.
