    ... dark wood and high mildewed ceilings in the old part of town. My room was guarded by two mannequins dressed in traditional clothing. They didn't freak me out at all.     ... on the way. Lovely way to pass the time.

    Spent the afternoon seeking out some of the historic sites, all within easy walking distance from our hotel.

    ... in, the hotel couldn't organise a room for me, so according to paperwork I wasn't there, but I stayed in a room with my Australian mate, Dominic. We then just chilled out in exchange student fashion for the rest of the day.

    ... out from crevices in the rock face, all caused by methane gas! The popular thing to do there is to toast marshmallows over the flames. Some people even braai sausage!!! We were very chuffed with ourselves for getting to the top and making it down in the dark and as Mike and Linda both said "wouldnt my oncologist and cardiologist be proud of me now!!"
