A seven hour flight was all that was required to catapult us across the equator, onto our second continent and through two hours worth of times zones. Landing in Brisbane international we said a quick "g'day" to Sheila at customs and a speedy "cheers mite" to Bruce at arrivals before we were on the transfer into the city.
