Went to eat street markets in North Brisbane for the afternoon. It was full of shipping containers with stalls inside them, bands here and there packed full with people. We enjoyed an orange vodka slushie in the sun in an American bar, then wondered round to get a chopstick which are amazing! Especially in chicken salt! It's a potatoe on a stick which is drilled and sliced and spiralled up ...
... to be landed by pilot not by wire, so that was exciting...... Walking down plane steps like walking into a tumble drier, so hot, and sunny. Then short wait until a catamaran zoomed us over to Daydream island. Our room overlooks the sea aquarium, which contains stingrays, manta, and sharks, very impressive. The weather was also pretty much perfect, hot and sunny. The south bank was a really nice area along the river, with a path covered by a huge leafy trellis. We wandered ...
... I was blessed with an amazing spectacle, a gigantic airport filled with luxuries and delights as far as the eye could see. There were coy fish ponds and relaxation areas all around. I couldn't fit it all in before my flight was called and I had to leave this amazing place.
The service of Virgin Airlines was always exceptional.
