      ... lunch we made our way to the Palais Garnier, Paris Opera House, This building is stunning and was the setting for the novel Phantom of the Opera. The interior is luxurious with it's grand marble staircase, mosaic covered ceiling and many chanderliers I thought this was much more beautiful than Versailles.       A relaxing Sunday sleep in, in Pari followed by an impromptu decision to go and visit the Luxembourg gardens.
