4am wake-up call today as we are supposed to be going hot air ballooning over Vegas. Weather is still not good and parts of Vegas are flooding but we are still hopeful. ... a large lake with impressive lakeside views. Fishing is fantastic here. Every trout season opening draws up to 10,000 anglers in search of trophy Brown Trout. The record is 28 pounds with most averaging over 3 pounds!. We have never fished Crowley without catching large trout. This time we caught only one sizable Brown, but it was big enough to feed the 4 of us for dinner.

Friday, June 19, 2015. PCT day 61. Mile 933.3 Camping last night at Garnett Lake on the JMT, we had 3 miles or so before where the JMT and the PCT reconnect at Thousand Island Lake.
