After the backpacking trip with Julie and Frank, it was heaven to be back in a hotel with running water, real toilets and a bed you do not have to break down and set up again. And we all know how we felt about the mosquitoes!


In Bishop, there are so many places to stay. We opted for a place that had a kitchen with the room and it was amazing. We stayed here for three nights.

... We made camp on Shadow Creek and then we met Reid. He is a twenty something opera vocalist with a masters in music from the Conservancy in San Francisco. ... t have opened the gate. We decided to turn around and on the way passed about ten others driving in so they would have had to turn around too.
