We eventually turned left onto Hwy 50 and arrived at South Lake Tahoe 25 miles later. We pulled into Tahoe Valley RV Resort at 3:00 pm. Cost for 11 days is $198.00 with RPI - not bad at $18.00/night. The next day we got up refreshed and drove to the next town called Williams. This place was awesome and right on route 66 again! It was exactly how you imagine an american town and had some cool places to shop and eat. Another great place we liked so decided to stay there before heading to the Grand Canyon.

We spent much of the day waiting on the repairman, but he fixed the problem when he got here. It takes a long time for the refrigerator to cool so it was bedtime when we were able to move food out of the coolers and into the refrigerator. But at least we're back up and running. Hurray!
