Christmas Markets in the Snow
... you can no longer see the sky and you feel like you are under a tree house. Lights are stung from branches and little wooden houses are under the trees selling food and warm drinks and outside the tree fortress were little ski gondolas that you could sit in to have your meal and escape the cold. It was a magical experience! The only thing I do not understand is why we don't have old fashioned christmas markets in the U.S? Don't Americans realize what beauty they are being deprived of!?

It was now 4pm and time to head back home. After walking around for most of the day and enjoying all the sights, we were thoroughly pleased with our day trip. Given that there are many other villages and cities within a 100km raidus of Edingen, there is a lot more to see!
