... street performers. One was a man with marionettes one of which played the piano. Another which I found particularly enjoyable and somewhat remarkable was an accordionist who played J. S. Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor. A bit further along we found an outdoor café for dinner. Brenda ordered the geröstet Maultaschen in Pilzenrahmsauce and I ordered a vegeterische Pflammkuchen. After lunch we walked around city once last time before making it back to the hotel.

... we were in there earlier. We had beer and cheese spatzial in the first tent and then Beer and chicken in the second tent.

We then checked out the grounds. Lots of rides and food stalls. There was also a clothes market where we looked around.

We are the usual carnie food. Corn on the cob, toffee grapes and chocolate strawberries.

... each of my visits. I also had a nice conversation with the owner after everyone had left. I had stayed here for 9 nights on my first visit in 2008 and she is so hospitable, so it was a pleasure to have this special event in her place of business. Due to the length of our conversation, it meant that I would have to catch the last train from Bretzfeld to Heilbronn―something I prefer to avoid―but there were no problems.

Monday was obviously a preview of things ...

Today we got up, checked out and made our way to Stuttgart, The rain can on time and we got there without a hitch.

Once we arrived we walked around town and the main shopping district. We decided to have a later lunch early dinner. We for pasta. We then made our way back and had an early night.
