... offers. There were 2 highlights. First the road between Pfronzheim and Muehlhausen. A quite road, slowly going up and in the deep the Wuerm. Really a pleasure to ride. At the end of the day I arrived in Naturpark Schoenbuch. A quite park with dark forest and great valleys !
Tomorrow it goes up the Schwaebisch Alp. From 300 meters up to 737 meters.

... 4 or so hours there; but we decided to carry on to Heilbronn. There was only a 3 minute connection time, but we only had to cross to the other side of the platform. This one was a RE (regional) train and it was packed in the second class section. We had the 12 seats in First class all to ourselves - not that it was all that salubrious, but it certainly wasn't crowded.

Have I mentioned that we've often had an entire 30 seat carriage to ourselves in ...

... I'd suggest it needs some detailed planning. It's not too hard to find out the relevant cemetery and even the location at that cemetery. Have that research done before you leave home. The next bit is to pick a town and I'd base myself there for a week if possible....could be Albert, Honfleurs, Perrone or Ypres. I would then try and do alternate days of WW1 and something else. You need to break ...

... and our sat nav didn't have any signal so were literally driving around for maybe an hour with no clue as to where we were going.

We ended up driving through a couple of really small villages and some very windy, narrow roads through the forest. Though it was incredibly beautiful, it was certainly a relief when SatNav picked us up and we got ourselves back on track. Luckily we'd been going in the correct direction!
