    ... for bikes. When this road is dry like today it really is great fun to ride on a bike.

    On all other occasions I have continued on this road all the way to Tirano but today I am taking another route and heading to Stelvio via the holiday town of Livingo.

    I take the turn and right away I notice a old customs building with one police officer standing there watching and just after that is a big sign saying "Italy".

    This road is a road I have never been ...

    ... Day. It is a public holiday in Italy today, Remembrance Day, so lots will be closed. Had breakfast and took the advice of Vittorio the owner and headed to the town of Gubbio. He said it had an old town and interesting architecture. He also told of a man and his relationship with an evil wolf and it is legend in the town, saw statues of it everywhere.     ... got to Trento, which was luckily only another 20 minutes away, I went to the nearest shop to buy Luca a new outfit. As he was now starving we went straight to lunch.
