The campsite we stayed in in Rugat was interesting for a number of different reasons. Firstly it had its own lake with a good selection of water fowl, a heathly population of red squirrels, and a workforce almost entirely British. Not sure how they all ended up in Rugat but it was a bit bizarre. ...

Afterwards, we have what is, for Kathleen, an adventurous lunch, Tapas, consisting of Patas Bravas, Garlic and Cheese Potatoes, Tortilla, Meatballs in piquant sauce, with a bottle of Rioja of course.

... with a private entrance and terrace. There is an open kitchen with a dining area, a spacious living room.There are 2 bedrooms, one with an ensuite. The apartment is for 1 to 4 people and is located on the edge of the typical Spanish wine village between the almond olive-citrus and carob trees and vineyards.
It lies at the foot of the mountain and is just 1 minute walk from the village with its shops, a weekly market and a famous flea market, with restaurants and cafes.
