... ladies was wearing. We were gobsmacked when she took them off and handed them to Kelly as a gift. Colombians really are some of the nicest people we have met.

We left Isabel and her family with the promise of meeting up the next day for a party. After some very delicious chicken we headed back to our 'hostel' for the evening's festivities. We drank with the others for a while before heading off the a salsa street party where we danced the night away!

... the young colombian girls (think very much gypsy wedding), but I think you just have to accept it as part of their culture. Plenty of meat on a stick, beer and salsa. And the added touch of everyone wearing their colombian football shirts- a sea of happy yellow people. Quite the party.

Then further north we must go.

... one also arrived ahead of schedule, at 3.30am on Tuesday morning but due to the time difference it was 3am. We had to wait until 7am for a ticket office to open then got a ticket to Caracas.
