With plenty of yawns and bleary eyes from successive late nights, we finally said our goodbyes and left, only to return 20 mins later to retrieve a jacket that was left behind, so we eventually made it back to the tent about 11pm, with the boys already asleep in the car. Another cold night underway, so I set the heater up so it could stay on all night with less chance of being kicked over and burning down the tent.

    Paris day 2

It’s probably not something I should talk about too much, our business being all about satisfying the needs of people who want more space, but I have found that living with less suits us very well. I’m tempted to tell our prospective clients to take six months off work, buy ...

We both slept really well last night, got ourselves ready, had a quick breakfast down on Circular Quay, then caught the 10.07 ferry to Paramatta. At the time the weather was a bit overcast, the forecast was rain, maybe even a storm! No way, out came the sun, we sat outside at the front (sun cream on, hat on, jacket on then off) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The ferry stopped many times and took one and a half hours to get ...
