      ... selling this, that and weed. For lunch we went to a lake in the middle of nowhere and had a BBQ whilst a certain aroma filled the air...! Back on the bus to Byron a guy thought he was Harry Potter and had to get off the bus to throw up... Haha! We enjoyed our time in Byron even more so once we got to our next stop... Surfers paradise! Basically like a European holiday destination with a strip, a KFC, a McDonalds and a Hungry Jacks (Burger King) all right next to one another... ...

      ... goes. People were dressed in everything from bikinis, to fish net stockings, to kimonos, to little black dresses. High heels, wedge heels, flip flops, and barefeet. I was thinking these idiots must not have had basic science as they were trying to walk on the black asphalt and it was upwards of 35 C. (You will have to do the conversion because all I know is it was freaking hot.) They would walk on the asphalt and have to jump on the grass ...

      ... home to the UK on Tuesday 11 November. We are travelling on a new airbus 380. SG is amazed and relieved it gets off the ground. We will arrive nearly 24 hours later. It just reinforces that we have indeed driven an awful long way.

      *One final Pommy whinge - and a warning to others leaving Sydney Int'l Airport. They charge 4$ for a luggage trolley, non refundable. But they accept credit cards. Outrageous Even Theathrow ...
