It was an absolutely beautiful day at La Albufera! La Albufera is the biggest natural lake in Spain, and is about 1 hour south of Spain by bus. We spent the morning doing a tour of the city with a tour guide, seeing typical Xativa life, the market, the cathedral, and a museum. It was a sufficient trip. I have to say my favorite part of the day came when we began to trek up to the castle.

... place called Oliva parked up just behind the sand dunes and no high rise in sight. Flat enough for us to go on some good bike rides. This week we have experienced 25 degrees and 14 degrees which is at least better than the UK and the floods there!
