      Day 22 - Friday, 26th September, 2014

We had decided on Thursday night that we were going to have a lazy day today. The hotel was arguably the best we had stayed at and it was cheap. So we booked in for another night.

We got up to the best inclusive breakfast of the trip so far, some of it being English style although there were no beans and after this went for ...

      Day 21 - Thursday, 25th September, 2014

We left Perpignan and started riding due west into the Pyrenees Mountains. Our destination was Andorra.

We soon started to make height. The roads were great motorcycling roads, generally good road surfaces, long sweeping left and right bends. There was a nice view around every corner.

... is no snow on the mountains parts of the road and some of the views are breathtaking. The lower tunnel to Andorra is closed for maintenance so we climb even higher than might normally be the case. The tunnel at the top is over two Kms long and we emerge into the affluent, ski settlement of Canillo. It is an impressive sight. The road up to Andorra I think is used for the Tour de France and once through the tunnel the roads are much wider and there are lots of chalets and ...

... we'd visited last night (it's become our special lil fave in this particular village). Breakfast follows the same deal we'd experienced on the other occasions here, with large plates of small offerings lining the counter with a large range available to view, drool over and (eventually) choose. A number of variations of rolls with sliced meats, a bagel with egg and jamon as well as sweeter croissants and pastries. One selects as one desires. When time to settle the "la cuenta", ...
