... we could do and found some super pressies to take home. Exhausted we caught a saungtauw back to the hotel. It's been a wonderful part of our journey being here and we agree that it is indeed a great city to live in with the relaxed environment, mostly fresh air and amazing people. ... Joy to drive us around the old city for a bit of a look. We had a fantastic day out with Joy, lovely friendly man, we chatted about all sorts of things, would definitely book him again for another tour. however woke up with his face pressed in the gap at the bottom of the door on
the floor then crawling in bed, dear god. That day we moved back to Deejai, we
needed air con and they had a big tv room we could crash in. so we arrived
totally ill ended up watching the beach and Prometheus then passing out in our
room, woke , ate then back to sleep.

... embarrassed' and 'mortified' do not do justice to my emotions at that particular point in time.We got off at Chaing Mai and were ferried through the town in much more comfortable Mini vans to the guesthouse we would call home for the next 2 nights. Yes, this really is a trip at the speed of light. Chaing Mai is very different to Bangkok, as it was cut off form a lot of the rest of the world until only 20 years or so ago. ...
