    ... br> At the top platform, we took individual
    and group photos. You had the opportunity to unhook the orange
    carabiner and lean out forward and backwards over the edge. It was
    fun, but I find my nerves go off more when I rappel from 10 metres.

    ... after the kids go to bed. Sunday the Cardiff's came for a visit as they are 20mins away. We took a little bush walk to Cedar creek falls which was lovely and the kids had fun.     ... meanwhile, that Easter in Australia is basically BBQ and drinking. And family time outdoors. Kids do search for chocolate eggs and bunnies on Sunday. And some people go to church either today on Good Friday or on Sunday.

    ... afternoon and after finding our future employer we got more info about the job. The things we already knew were that we are picking persimmons, it's paid hourly and that we are sleeping in a tent on the farm. What we didn't know was how beautiful it is here and how nice the people are!     ... and catch the ferry to Russel Island, to catch up with a couple we'd met earlier who lived on the island. But things just didn't work out that way.
    Problem: major car crash on the M1, blocking all northbound lanes. A truck had crossed the dividing barrier (about 2' high), and swung across all three lanes, smashing into the traffic going the other way. Big affair! Freeway was blocked for hours.
