Sailing can be a SLOW business

Traveling on
On our way. Kalmar has been lovely. We walked through a beautiful neighborhood and several parks. Flowers and vegetables and the Swedes and their children enjoying the summer sun. The hotel is large and nice. We had laundry done here as Ron could not find a self service one, much to his disappointment. Doing laundry in a foreign country and getting a haircut are highlights for Ron-a slice of real life. Kalmar is full ...
The people
Some general observations about Denmark and Sweden, according to me (Diane). Both countries are very clean, people friendly and helpful - of course it helps when everyone, including the janitors at the train stations speak perfect English!
