      ... for the prisoners to sprint, drop to the ground and back spring up etc. Also in the field was the site of the gallows and the roll-call area where prisoners had to stand, unprotected from the elements, 3 times a day. At the back of the camp,away from the barracks was the execution trench and mass graves of the victims.       Once the show ended, applause and admiration poured from the crowd. We all went outside to be greeted with hard rain, and decided we would meet at a Turkish market close to the hostel. I got some directions, and confidently walked back to the train station where I found my way to the stop I was told to get off at.
