Heading back north on the Matanzas River, we pulled into Salt Run and stopped for a swim on the north west side of Anastasia State Park. Leaving the park, we entered Tolomato River and explored north to the junction of Tolomato and Guana Rivers. Our 4 1/2 hr. outing was enough sun and sea for all of us and we headed back to the marina. It was a neat day on the water!
We left Rebounderz and had lunch in St. Augustine. From there we headed south to Ft. Gates to take the ferry across the St. Johns River. It's a small ferry that can carry only two cars. It's nothing spectacular, but it's unusual, and the river is always pretty. We've taken it with the girls on 2 or 3 other occasions, ...
After turning over a sparkling clean
Glade Hut back to the park, we headed north so Cindy could visit her
grandchildren in Tampa on the way north. We stayed in a beautiful
State Forest with nobody else there except for a couple of gators and
lots of birds. Cooked a steak over the fire and enjoyed a peaceful
... Tampa tomorrow to get the braking system hooked up in the RV (they worked on the Cooper yesterday). Then we'll return to Sarasota to FINISH getting the villa ready for rental. We have a reservation at a state park on the east coast of Florida for the 30th - we don't anticipate any difficulty making that.

We are sad to leave, after spending 5 wonderful days in this beautiful recreational campsite enjoying the fish, the foul, full hookup at nominal price, the people, wifi-ing with others in the office and getting to know the fun staff.
