This blog will be the last now for some time - we have settled into our regular outings now with friends, nothing to warrant reporting home about…Moose club, lunches with friends and last evening dinner with Raymond and Connie at their home in Venice, followed by Mexican Train Dominos which David and Erin picked up really quickly and enjoyed.

Main courses are called entrees for some strange reason, and what we call entrees are appetisers. Our appetisers at home are called starters here.
An example of the food situation was when we joined Chuck and Jan for dinner at an Italian pizza place at Pt Charlotte last night, and we shared 2 "special" family pizza deals between the 6 of us.....the appetisers were 10 chicken wings x 2, large bowl Greek salad x 2, then 2 18" diameter ...

We made our way into Los Angeles and luckily made it in time to witness my brother getting married!! It worked out so unbeleivably perfect! Our time in Los Angeles was so brief, but we accomplished MUCH in that short time. Thank you Natasha & Bob for welcoming us in your home and making it so much easier to get everything done!

... day Hazel, Guy and I went to Soda Fountain, which is class. Proper old school diner and I mean old. So old they don't even serve fries. Wish we could've sat at the bar but we had the pram. Old-style cheeseburger for me with a massive strawberry milkshake. Hazel had a malted milk float. You can't go in Soda Fountain and not try an old classic drink can you?! The milkshakes were awesome, as was the decor and the food was great too.
