Early start, Stansted crowded - possibly made worse by the French air traffic controllers strike yesterday. ... gorgeous stone building about 900 years old. This time it's simplicity was stark but beautiful.
Back in the car we had a 2 hour drive which was an easy drive on the motor way. We arrived at Girona in Spain but had a little trouble finding the hotel as it wasn't listed on the GPS. Eventually we did and parked the car after driving around the roundabout about 3 times.
... full swing. We're all embracing spring.

That might sum up the current Boeschen philosophy. Especially since a new operator took over the churro truck near our house (though we're still never sure when it's open or it's closed. Guessing this as we come into the roundabout ...
... in the world where you will find a Greek and a Roman city side by side and it is truly a sight to see. We wandered around this unique place for most of the afternoon. We lifted some black covers off a couple of the floors of houses in the Roman side and found floors of mosaics, wow, they are almost pristine and so old. We walked to the gate of the Roman city to the Roman wall, there was a little history plate ...
... met a few locals tonight who will be at tomorrow's "fin de ano" (end of year) celebration and I think it will be fun!
