... was hilarious and so much fun. Prepare to get soaked though if you ever do one of these. The helicopter tour was without a doubt one of the best things I've done to date. Words actually can't describe how amazing it is to see the coast from up high and well the helicopter part just makes it fun. Lucky tam got to sit in the front of the helicopter and got the better views, I was so jealous! I still need to try convince him to sky dive! Today tams chilling in the room and ...

... had cellophane on all of the seats including his, but heyho !!

The next day we took a ferry to Magnetic Island, which is a national park and holiday resort, about 20 minutes drive from one end to the other. There's a regular bus service and we bought a day pass and took in the whole place. It was really beautiful with nice beaches at either end, where you could swim but within net protected areas. We saw a Kookaburrah and Rock Wallabies, took a swim ...

Christmas Day

... 9AM. It wasn't too bad, but there weren't a lot of animals out maybe because it was hot. I did get to feed the kangas and hold a koala, they were super soft! There were Bearded Dragon Lizards everywhere. I also saw Tree Kangaroos which I never knew existed, and Cassowaries. At one point I saw a display of how parrots were smuggled in tiny plastic tubes in suitcases and it made me sick to my stomach! I spent about 2.5hrs there, they had some bird feeding and animal talks ...
