... was another good one and Matty even signed us up for free pancakes for breakfast in the morning. We parked the van and decided to have a wander in to the centre of surfers paradise again to have another look around and to get a few food bits we needed. It took about 30 mins to walk in to the centre, we were so warm we decided on so e frozen yoghurt to cool us down. We sat down and ate that and noticed a huge queue forming next to us. We arrived in Brisbane early yesterday morning after a 13 hour flight from LAX--an hour shorter than usual due to favorable winds. We flew Virgin Australia for the first time and have to admit it was undoubtedly the most comfortable flight we have ever taken to Australia. OK, the food was lousy, but we slept for ...

... Or so I was told. But there are many similarities to the Haight, Berkeley and Santa Cruz. Needless to say, footwear is optional here. I was fortunate enough to still run into people on the bus, even my very first friend I met in Cairns! I spent the first three nights with Meg and Tara, two British girls who made me laugh constantly and get "absolutely charlied!" (aka DRUNK). In exchange I introduced them the best website ever: hotdogs or legs? It's ...
