... foreign. It's not unusual to be walking along and hear "hey baby!" "Kiss me baby!" which is kind of hilarious. Anyway as we were walking through the markets it started to **** down; people were running all over the place, and umbrella hawkers were out with a vengeance. Meanwhile, I just stood in the middle of the street taking photos like a crazy tourist. Incredibly, I think Florence looks even more charming in the rain! Anyway, time to grab a nice hot coffee and dry off! Nadine ...

... it up but building the rest the other way but as you can see in photos, it didn't really work out. There are so many other buildings around which are all really badly made, all crooked and dodgy. Haha it is funny how the reason people come and see it is because of how bad it is. After we got our cool photos of us trying to push it over and stuff we got back on the bus and headed to Florence. We arrived in the afternoon and our room is really nice, for once. ...

... room and checked my E-mail. I found that if I sit on the chair beside the door, the Wi-Fi works fine. However, it doesn’t work as well if I’m sitting on the bed. I heard the Maid working in the hallway, so asked her if she wanted to clean the room. She doesn’t speak English so I struggled to ask her that question. I took the chair and moved out to the hallway for a few minutes to allow her to work.

    Wine Tasting in Tuscany

    ... of wine tasting!

After we left that winery they bussed us over to a charming little town of Greve, the principal town in the Chianti wine district. Lots of little shops and gelato to get lost in for an hour while we all 'dried out.' I did some shopping there and later saw the receipt and thought, 'I paid what for what?' Ha, ha. It really wasn't that bad - but I'm sure great for tourism in that town to drop off 50-60 very happy Americans for a little shopping for an hour.
