    This is a simple hotel, with simple rooms, with a simple breakfast, that will do job.
    If you want a pool, a breakfast with 3 miles and a runaway to put the car...this is not what you are looking for.

    Milan took us by surprise. We were shocked by the general air of neglect - lots of graffiti and homeless people. Fortunately our little hotel was in a quaint street where residents had taken some trouble with their balcony gardens. We enjoyed a meal and a glass of wine at a roadside cafe which was excellent.     ... ordered insalata mista, then had swordfish with tomatoes, capers, and olives
    Barry - proscuitto with figs, followed by costata di manzo with patate arrosto

    We drank some ordinary chianti classico and finished off with a grappa (riserva Sibona) .
    Come the time to pay the bill, we realised we had both left our wallets back in the hotel room.
    Fortunately it was not far so Libby rushed back to collect Barry's wallet.
