Very helpful and friendly staff. I think they were a bit embarrassed about the renovations in the lobby but that is not their fault. Room clean and tidy.

However when you arrive at 4 in the morning, there's not that much to see really. However to disembark and walk into an airport that has a water feature behind a lift that holds about 100 people you get the idea this place could be rather impressive. I can see however that the country runs on tourism as there is no end to ...

... and now I am happy comfortable (I lie) and the say ok we have finished this stupid camel sits down for us to get off, looks easy but it wasn't. Camel riding is off my bucket list and I will never ever get on a camel again. Dinner was BBQ with Arabian spices. A very beautiful belly dancer entertained us. Very pleasant night. One man even came up, giving his sales pitch as he took off my hat and replaced it with another head piece. My multiple "No thank you's" did nothing until Alyssa barged in and put him in his place lol.We arrived there at the wrong time though, since everyone started closing up shop for the day pretty soon afterwards. So, having enough of the heat, we went back to the hotel, ...
