      ... close to home. Anyway the Burj, well we eventually got there! We got out tickets and headed for a holding room. After a 10 minute wait we had to pass through security and get out bags checked before walking along yet more corridors till we reached a lift. I'm not sure what I was expecting but this small lift infront of me was not what I expected to take me up 124 floors. We got in with another couple.       ... The clocks said 6 am local time when we arrived, but my watch said four. Dubai was very hazy this morning as we flew over it before landing. I noticed that some of the roads were less well defined and the edges covered with sand. Must have been a sandstorm recently. I also saw the camp sites that I visited so many weeks ago.
