... how they managed to build and carry all these rocks up such a giangantic hillside. I see why they did it- they had such a magnificent and flawless view of their beautiful city and were also in the oppertune position to look out for attackers! The tomb of Agamemnon was quite impressive- perfectly shaped- it was awesome to see something i had studied at uni! I didn't stay inside the actual tomb for long- it smelt of dead bodies too much! For lunch we went to the seaside town Nafplion ...

A short drive to our accommodation, Hotel Minos in Tolo which overlooked the sea with a beautiful pool area. We felt like we'd arrived in heaven and watched the sun set across the water.

I had come too far and needed to walk back towards the sea, but it was not far and I found the hotel Epidavria a street back from the sea front. A warm welcome to a very pretty room, complete with balcony and a view of the sea and mountains albeit between the buildings in front.

I needed to eat, and found several places with ...

... the front row was only for the VIP's. That row was the only row that had backs to their seats. The rest of the audience leaned against the knees of the person behind them. We tried to emulate that - it was very cool. The Theater seats about 14,000 - it was amazing.

From Epidaurus we went to Mycenae. Mycanae was the main center of the Mycenaean world, and gave its name to a period and a civilization that evolved throughout the entire ...
