We had decided to go to Knossos on our last full day (Friday) as it is close to Iraklio where Chris and Milly will fly from on Friday night. Well, our brilliant plan to see Knossos today and catch a ferry out to Santorini was marred by the fact that the only ferries to Thira leave Tuesdays and Fridays at 8pm. Seems the Flying Dolphins aren't quite on their fins yet and only start running next week. Oh well, that'll give us the chance to see another Cretan town instead of another island.
