I was eighteen.  We had dinner and then Japie called in, another brother of Christien.  I had seen Japie three years ago and it is at times like these we miss Gurrie.  We sat and talked until 10.30pm and decided it was time to go home.  We are so fortunate and really enjoying our time in Leeuwarden with my family but tomorrow we have the big job of trying to organize the cases and repacking everything for our big trip home."

Terschelling West etc.  Had some lunch(typically dutch "warm sandwiches" at the seaside of course and then walked around looking at everything.  At 6pm we arrived back home after a long and emotional day and cooked dinner.  We had potatoes with raw witlof just like mum used to make and a piece of steak.  Yum, Yum.  The weather is still fine not cold now we will see what tomorrow brings."

... years or so. They are very proud of this as there are many much larger places close by that maybe called cities but have missed out on being included.

One of the things that is rather difficult to get used to is the vision of a sailing boat seemingly sitting in the middle of a paddock hidden somewhat by the farmers crops but moving along at a steady pace. More so in Friesland than other parts of Holland do you see this.

This is Zwolle, my new home. I wanted to share a few pictures of the town with you guys and show you how pretty it is. The city is beautiful- plenty of good architecture and flowers everywhere. I love the brickwork on some of these buildings.

... be forthcoming as proof. It was so very nice of Hans and Irene to take me out for the day, and especially nice of them to allow me to view this wonderful, live picture of history. I had a magnificent time. We then drove back to their house in Arkmaar and had coffee and a small snack. Gyongyi hen met us there and we all had a really nice dinner together at a Belgian restaurant in Arkmaar. All in all, it was an absolutely delightful day.

Hey...this is the last entry by me (Emily) for awhile- Alecia and Kathryne will be adding the next few days! Tuesday morning we woke up way too early and got on a 6:24 train to Zwolle, Netherlands. Most of us slept during part of the train ride (we rode in segments and had to transfer a couple of times) because the train ride was so early in the morning. ... of Princess Di's dresses and another exhibit about the last Debutantes in England. After that we had tea and cake in the Orangery which is just across the garden from the Palace. We then jumped on the tube and headed out to Greenwich - famous for Greenwich mean time or whatever it's called - which I didn't know until after we got back which was a bummer because it would've been cool to find out more about it.
