Ik ben Amsterdam

Our hotel was about 15 minutes from the city centre, so we took a tram in. The thing about Amsterdam is that its (public) transportation system is phenomenal – buses, trams, cars, taxis, bikes. Walking in the streets is like playing an advanced game of frogger – ever moving vehicle you can imagine is coming at you.

Misc Amsterdam
... with caramel) There are many ducks in the ponds to feed as well. This park was lovely. People of all ages and nationality were here enjoying the beautiful scenery and lazing around. There were groups of people relaxing on the grass, playing an acoustic guitar and eating some lunch. Many of the locals (who I assume were locals anyhow) were jogging along the paved paths or biking somewhere. Steve and I visited several times, ate lunch by a few different ponds and fed the ducks.
