A travel blog entry by sydalextrip on Aug 11, 2013

Alex and I finally made it to Masstricht in the late afternoon. We decide that after we ate we would find the airport and just sleep in the airport to save money. We used a discount airline called Ryanair and unfortunately they have their own terminal and it is quite small and has no stores or food. It would be unrealistic to sleep in the terminal as ...

          ... in Amsterdam.

Well, shoot me in the foot, no such luck was to be had with Plan B. This is no longer possible, however, because too many campers left bottles and other messes behind. The government cutbacks also contributed to that decision.

There is still one place where it is possible to camp in the Biesbosch and that is on a private island which also happens to be a farm. For only 6 ...

Xmas has past nice and quiet, New Years Eve celebrated with music and popcorn on Bennies hill! Now it was time to sort out the last things before jumping in the van and driving back to Holland. Not being the best planner, time being an irralevant issue around here and things not easy at hand, it took me over 2 weeks of running around to get the last things fixed on the van (new roofrack, door finally closing properly, solar panel on top ...

Friday, 5th october, 21.30 o'clock: BACK AGAIN! Fortunately I don't have to work this weekend, but on Monday it's time to be active again! No complains, I loved my time abroad as always, but also looking forward to helping out in the chocolate shop again, preparing and helping out for my brother's and A wedding and lots of personal projects in my mind as well! My motorbike has done great, might take her on another trip again......one day.....ehka Huomenna ...
