A nice afternoon and evening with cousin Saskia, Mark Tante Nelly and Oom Henk.

The weather was perfect for a tree top walk and Heather Walk at Het Boomkroonpad.

Then dinner at Chinese Restaurant Wo Hing in Assen.

Arrived on time and bought a Dutch sim card for my phone. I'll be here for a while and lots of people to contact and it will be handy for transport apps to have a bit of data too. Then off to get a transport card for travelling on the trains and maybe buses too.

I found the right train with one change at Zwolle and then Rosa met me at Groningen train station.

It is great to be here and it is sunny and warm!

Whilst out on ...

... 8211; I really love the Dutch style, their homes are so clean and fresh looking. A few little trinkets and nice potted plants inside. So lovely. We went to a really beautiful home décor shop with Ale. It was packed full of all different types of home wares. If it was easy to bring glass home I would have gone crazy in there, but instead I looked in envy. While we were in the shop Adrian had Indy on his shoulders (her favourite place to sit at ...
