    ... with playground, restaurant and snack bar. Perfect for having a stroll after dinner and an ice cream! Indoor heated swimming pool as well. We were fortunate to find a caravan servicing centre not far, who were able to fix the caravan fridge ( it just needed a new element) after the very helpful reception people phoned around for us.     Stayed on the outskirts of a large campsite with lots of Germans on their way into The Netherlands. On the second day caught the train into Groningen which is the capital of the region and I think the main city in northern Netherlands.     Woke today with a promise of fine weather, but around 2.30 it started to spit a bit, it's expected to be 35 on Wednesday, as people here don't need air conditioners it's going to be HOT!! not complaining, after all, it is summer here and it wont be long before we're home and we'll be complaining because it's so cold.     Couldn't sleep as I was worried about catching the train to Groningen with 2 suit cases, imagining all sorts of things, but need not have worried, it was a breeze, well kinda, when trying to sleep your mind seems to play tricks and come up with the most ridiculous thoughts that you wouldn't entertain during day light hours.
